Part-time Inside Sales Representative

Location: At our publishing offices in downtown Norfolk, Nebraska
Job Status: Part-time
Wages: Based on skills and experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Calling for sales to Nebraska Life Magazine subscription customers.
2) Calling for sales to Nebraska Life Magazine advertising customers.
3) Calling for sales to Nebraska Life Magazine retail customers.
4) Calling for sales to prospective subscription and advertising customers.
5) Processing subscription and advertising orders.
6) Organizing sales prospect lists.
7) Preparing sales reports.
8) Preparing mailings and other customer correspondence.
9) Follow-up on sales calls.
10) General office duties.
11) Other sales-related activities.
HOURS
20-30 hours per week, Monday-Saturday; adjustable, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
1) Telephone sales experience
2) Marketing education/experience
3) Lead prospecting skills
4) Customer-service skills
5) Office computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
