Potter Hometown Story - Duckpin Bowling

As part of our Cheyenne County Nebraska Hometown Story series, we went a few rounds with Dale, Dick, and John playing pin-setter at Potter's Duckpin Bowling Alley.

POTTER, NEBRASKA - Nowadays, most modern bowling alleys are outfitted with enough machinery to make an auto-shop blush. Boasting mechanized pin-setters, automatic ball returns, and digital scoreboards (with touch-screen input, of course), present day alleys seem a far cry from the analog-bowling days of yore. But we at Nebraska Life know newer is not always better, and sometimes it takes a little trip back in time to remember how enjoyable the simpler things in life are. In this episode of our Hometown Stories video series, we visit with Dale, Dick, and John as they fondly remember the warm Nebraskan summers spent setting pins and dodging softball-sized bowling balls in Potter's historic Duckpin Bowling Alley.
