Lou Hamm's Cinnamon Rolls

When we included the recipe for her Lemon-Sour Cream Pie in our March/April 2015 issue, we also mentioned Lou Hamm's cinnamon roll recipe. Readers began asking for it. Here you go. Enjoy!

Number of Servings: 15 rolls
Ingredients: Rolls:
1 loaf frozen bread loaf
Non-stick cooking spray
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup water
Directions: Spray long piece of plastic wrap with non-stick cooking spray. Wrap frozen bread in it and place in refrigerator overnight to thaw. Next day, place on counter for 1 to 1 1/2 hours to rise. Unwrap and roll out flat like a pie crust, approximately 18 inches long by 8 inches wide. Spread soft butter over top of dough. Then sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, pecans and raisins evenly across the dough. Starting on the long edge roll up tightly. Slice into 1 1/2" thick rolls. Lay down on greased pan with the cut edge against pan edge to keep them from unrolling. Mix glaze ingredients together and cook in saucepan on the stove until thick. Pour over rolls. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 375 degrees.
